Genefrei® Lung Targeted Transfection Kit

Genefrei® lung targeted transfection kit is an injectable transfection reagent with low off-target risk and high safety profiles developed by Longuide Biopharma Corporation. After IV injection in mice, the proportion of transfection in lung can reach up to 90%. The use of the kit is simple to operate and highly reproducible, all we need to do is mixing the transfection reagent in the kit with RNA solution before injection. The Genefrei® lung Targeted Transfection kit accelerates research and development of RNA therapeutics for lung-related diseases.

High transfection efficiency and targeting ability in mice can be achieved after IV injection for different types of nucleic acids, including but not limited to Fluc mRNA and Fluc circRNA.

The results of biological biodistribution assay shows that Genefrei® Lung Targeted transfection kit can deliver 74% of Cy5-siRNA to the lungs after IV injection.

Transfection mediated by Genefrei® lung targeted transfection kit is dose-dependent, so it’s suitable for dose diversification administration regimens.

All indexes were similar to those of mice in the control group without significant changes at 96h post IV injection of Genefrei® lung targeted transfection kit loaded with Fluc mRNA in mice at a dose of 4mg/kg. No significant hepatotoxicity or nephrotoxicity was observed in the treatment group, demonstrating the safety of Genefrei® lung targeted transfection kit.
